CGQ® Specification

Version: 1.0 (Draft) Status: Public Draft Apache 2.0

Overview

The Contextual Glyph Query (CGQ®) specification defines a methodology for measuring AI content quality across three primary dimensions: semantic coherence, contextual binding strength, and query-response alignment.

This specification is designed to be:

Core Metrics

1. Semantic Coherence (SC)

Measures the internal consistency and meaning stability of content as a unified semantic field.

SC = Σ(coherence_weight × field_stability) / total_semantic_units

Range: 0.0 to 1.0
Threshold: ≥0.7 for certification

2. Contextual Binding Strength (CBS)

Analyzes the strength and validity of relationships between concepts within the content.

CBS = Σ(binding_strength × relationship_validity) / total_bindings

Range: 0.0 to 1.0
Threshold: ≥0.65 for certification

3. Query-Response Alignment (QRA)

Measures how well content addresses user intent and answers the implicit or explicit query.

QRA = intent_match × completeness × relevance

Range: 0.0 to 1.0
Threshold: ≥0.75 for certification

CGQ® Score Calculation

The composite CGQ® Score is calculated as a weighted combination of the three core metrics:

CGQ_Score = (0.35 × SC) + (0.30 × CBS) + (0.35 × QRA)

Certification threshold: CGQ® Score ≥ 0.70

FCS-2.1 Integration

CGQ® builds upon the Fairness Certification Score (FCS) specification, extending it with semantic field analysis capabilities.

Full Specification Coming Soon

The complete FCS-2.1 specification with detailed algorithms, reference implementations, and validation protocols is currently in development.
